A3 thinking is central to Lean and Six Sigma. It's purpose is to reach a shared agreement and understanding of the problem that needs to be solved and on what success looks like. I have found it to be an immensely helpful tool. It is important to make it a collaborative product if you want to get the best results. Apart from the typical Lean A3 I have also included information on a strength based A3 inspired by appreciative inquiry.
